No-gi jiu-jitsu is practiced without the traditional uniform, the Gi Kimono. Instead, practitioners wear shorts and a rash-guard or t-shirt, and may also wear special grappling shorts that have no pockets or other potential snagging points.
It can be a faster-paced and more dynamic form of jiujitsu, as practitioners can move more freely and are not constrained by the grip-heavy nature of traditional gi-based jiu-jitsu. However, it can also be more physically demanding, as practitioners may rely more on their strength and athleticism to control their opponents.
Because the gi is not used, many of the techniques and strategies are different from those used in traditional gi-based jiu-jitsu. For example, practitioners may rely more on clinching, grappling, and controlling their opponent's body rather than using grips on the gi. Certain techniques, such as collar chokes and gi-specific submissions, are not as effective in no-gi jiu-jitsu.
Overall, no-gi jiu-jitsu is a great way for practitioners to develop their grappling skills and improve their physical fitness, while also exploring a different side of the art.

No gi Classes follow the same style as our traditional classes, but in more normal clothes. The idea behind these classes is to give a different and more real-world feel of how techniques would be used. We start these classes with a quick warm-up through either Calisthenics or drills, then jump straight into training a technique over and over to form muscle memory and help students retain the techniques. At the end of the class, we give students the opportunity to spar (or "roll") so that they can practice all the techniques learned in class in a real-world scenario where their partner can resist and counter.
